Basketball Recap: Halifax Academy Snaps Nine-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Halifax Academy entered their match against Crescent City on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Halifax Academy Knights lost to the Crescent City Raiders at home by a 56-42 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-62 two weeks ago.

Halifax Academy's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-5. As for Crescent City, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.

Halifax Academy will square off against Cocoa Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cocoa Beach will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Halifax Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Crescent City has already played their next game, a 66-61 loss against Taylor on the 22nd.
