Soccer Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

The Cooper Jaguars didn't have quite enough to beat the St. Joseph Central Irish on Saturday and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Cooper have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Cooper and nudges their season record down to 4-6-1. As for St. Joseph Central, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Cooper wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Blazer on the 6th. As for St. Joseph Central, they will be playing at home against Winfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph Central's defense better be ready for this one: Winfield have averaged an impressive 4.5 goals per game this season.
