Softball Recap: Little Rock Southwest Takes a Loss

Little Rock Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the ESTEM Mets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Gryphons have suffered since March 14th.

Little Rock Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for ESTEM, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.

Little Rock Southwest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-2 defeat against Cabot on the 15th. As for ESTEM, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 23-0 loss against Malvern on the 15th.
