Lake Ridge Academy suffers 11th straight loss at home

The Lake Ridge Academy Royals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Medina Christian Academy 54-11. Lake Ridge Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-8.

Lillian Shmois was Lake Ridge Academy's leading scorer, having posted six points. Shmois also led the team in rebounds with 15.

Lake Ridge Academy bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their 11th straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 14.2 points per game. As for Medina Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.

Lake Ridge Academy will head out on the road to face off against Andrews Osborne Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Medina Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Central Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
