Basketball Recap: Delano Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Delano couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were dealt an 87-48 defeat at the hands of the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights on Saturday. The Tigers have struggled against the Red Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Delano's loss dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Benilde-St. Margaret's, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 22-6.

Delano does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Benilde-St. Margaret's, they will venture away from home to face off against Orono at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Orono's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 matches.
