Basketball Recap: Louisburg Comes Up Short

Louisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 56-29 defeat at the hands of the Shawnee Mission West Vikings. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Louisburg's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Shawnee Mission West, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Louisburg Wildcats face off against the Eudora Cardinals on Tuesday. Shawnee Mission West has already played their next contest, a 56-52 victory against Aurora on the 25th.
