Basketball Recap: Pasadena Memorial Comes Up Short

Pasadena Memorial lost against Manvel back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pasadena Memorial Mavericks were beaten by the Manvel Mavericks 69-22. While losing is never fun, Pasadena Memorial can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1125th, while Manvel is ranked 95th).

Pasadena Memorial dropped their record down to 3-16 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Manvel, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Pasadena Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-28 loss against Dawson on the 17th. As for Manvel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 61-58 win against Shadow Creek on the 17th.
