Chicago Hope Academy posted their closest win since April 15th on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Holy Trinity Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in April.

Chicago Hope Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 26-24, 25-17.

Chicago Hope Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-12 record this season. As for Holy Trinity, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chicago Hope Academy will take on Wheaton Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Chicago Hope Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Holy Trinity, they will face off against Walther Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
