Basketball Recap: Texico Comes Up Short

Texico lost to Fort Sumner/House back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolverines took a 41-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Sumner/House.

Texico's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Fort Sumner/House, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Coming up, Texico and Melrose will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Fort Sumner/House, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Logan at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
