Football Recap: Midland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Midland and Dow, and Dow kept the tradition alive. The Chemics were outmatched by the Chargers and fell 34-7. While losing is never fun, the Chemics can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Chargers are ranked 29th).

Dow's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Garlands Randolph, who rushed for 107 yards and three TDs, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. That's the most rushing yards Randolph has posted since back in September. Wynn Diegel was another key passer, throwing for 226 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes.

Midland now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Dow, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Midland nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
