Basketball Recap: Northwest Piles Up the Points Against Mt. Healthy

Northwest won the last time they faced Mt. Healthy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Northwest Knights simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls 69-42. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while the Fighting Owls are ranked 612th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northwest has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Mt. Healthy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Northwest will take on Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mt. Healthy, they are taking a road trip to take on Goshen at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
