Elk Rapids had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Glen Lake Lakers as they made off with a 64-44 win. For the Elks, this counts as revenge for the 60-41 victory the Lakers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Glen Lake lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Dominic Stein, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maxwell Lamerson, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 12 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Coming up, Elk Rapids will host Varsity Opponent on Friday. As for Glen Lake, they will head out on the road to square off against Brethren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
