Softball Preview: Bandys Trojans vs. Maiden Blue Devils

The Bandys Trojans will head out to square off against the Maiden Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bandys is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Last Tuesday, Bandys made easy work of Lincolnton and carried off a 12-3 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Haven Helton made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.
