Madison put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Southwestern Rebels 63-31. The Cubs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 32 points or more this season.

Madison's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Juliana Davis, who went 8 for 19 en route to 26 points plus seven rebounds and five steals. What's more, Davis also racked up four threes, the most she's had since back in January. Another player making a difference was Addison Roark, who went 5 for 11 en route to 17 points plus six assists and five rebounds.

Madison was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southwestern only posted five.

Southwestern lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Harlee Hill, who posted 12 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Baleigh McAfee, who had seven points plus eight rebounds and two steals.

Madison pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Southwestern, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Madison has already played their next game, a 53-32 loss against Floyd Central on the 3rd. As for Southwestern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 51-32 defeat against Shawe Memorial on the 6th.
