Basketball Recap: Annapolis Beats Broadneck for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Annapolis hadn't done well against Broadneck recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Annapolis Panthers secured a 41-37 W over the Broadneck Bruins. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Annapolis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mckenzie Fuller, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. Fuller has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Audrey Skinner, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Several Bruins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Makayla Kropfelder, who scored six points along with eight boards and four blocks. Macie Mcnece was another key player, putting up 17 points.

Annapolis' record now sits at 10-1. As for Broadneck, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Annapolis will welcome Crofton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Crofton will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Annapolis surely won't give up without a fight. As for Broadneck, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-32 victory against Chesapeake on the 22nd.
