Softball Recap: Midwest Central/Illini Central Takes a Loss

Midwest Central/Illini Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 19-0 to the Brimfield Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 11-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Midwest Central/Illini Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brimfield, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Midwest Central/Illini Central will head out to square off against Williamsville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brimfield, they will square off against Bloomington Central Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight.
