Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln lost against Brighton back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Railsplitters lost 11-3 to the Bulldogs.

Vince Miano was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Brighton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Lincoln by a score of 7-0 later that day.
