Volleyball Recap: Sonora Gets the Win + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ripon, Sonora was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Ripon Christian Knights 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since August 28th.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (114-105) Sonora actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 30-28, 25-23, 15-25, 20-25, 15-13.

Addy Vann was nothing short of spectacular: she had 21 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Sonora moved to 16-5 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Ripon Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 20-10.

Looking ahead, Sonora will be playing at home against Venture Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ripon Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
