Basketball Game Preview: North Mahaska Warhawks vs. Baxter

The North Mahaska Warhawks will face off against Baxter at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. North Mahaska knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Baxter likes a good challenge.

North Mahaska is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Iowa Valley by a score of 76-64 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Baxter narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Ankeny Christian Academy 63-61.

Baxter's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for North Mahaska, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.

North Mahaska beat Baxter 62-50 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Will North Mahaska repeat their success, or does Baxter have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
