 After losing to Mission Vista the last time they met, Sage Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Sage Creek Bobcats had just enough and edged Mission Vista out  2-1.
  Kassidy King spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on two hits and racked up 12 Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Kaimana Coleman was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 On Mission Vista's side, they also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in:  Hannah Waclawski gave up only one earned  (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. Waclawski has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in 11 consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate, Mission Vista saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Abbie Low, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Sage Creek's win was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-8. As for Mission Vista, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 17-7.
 Sage Creek will head out on the road to  challenge  Canyon Crest Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Sage Creek's pitching crew has only allowed 2.1  runs per game  this season, so Canyon Crest Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mission Vista, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Dieguito Academy at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. San Dieguito Academy will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last.
