Basketball Game Preview: Delran Bears vs. Palmyra Panthers

Delran and Palmyra are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Delran Bears will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Palmyra Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Delran knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Palmyra likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Delran was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 69-64 to Pennsauken. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Palmyra, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 61-51 win over Willingboro on Friday.

The victory got Palmyra back to even at 12-12. As for Delran, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Delran came up short against Palmyra when the teams last played back in January, falling 66-58. Can Delran avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
