South Anchorage faced Colony in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolverines came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Wolverines in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Indy Kmet paced South Anchorage's offense, picking up 12 kills. Kmet got some help from Ellie Kleven and her 18 assists. Kleven was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

South Anchorage's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Colony, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 17-7 record.

South Anchorage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Bettye Davis East Anchorage on the 26th. As for Colony, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Eagle River on the 27th.
