Softball Recap: Haven Wildcats vs. Larned Indians        
        
		
            
 Haven can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  in Friday's  second game. They were the clear victor by  a  13-3 margin over the Larned Indians.
  Avery Brawner made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing five innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   two  hits. Brawner has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Brawner was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Sadie Estill was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs. Another player making a difference was  Mayzie Warden, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Haven's win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Larned, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4-1.
 Haven will be playing in front of their home fans against Hoisington at 4:00  p.m.  in Tuesday's  first game. Haven is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 11.5  runs per game  this season. As for Larned, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Hillsboro at 4:00  p.m.  in Tuesday's  first game. Hillsboro is coming into the  contest with four straight  defeats at home,  meaning Larned will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  victory.
