Saucon Valley is 7-2 against Catasauqua since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Saucon Valley will host Catasauqua at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Saucon Valley's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.

On Tuesday, Saucon Valley earned a 10-5 win over Southern Lehigh. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

Cole Hubert made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). Hubert was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Noah Hubert was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Andrew Gilbert, who scored a run.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Catasauqua's offense. They lost 16-0 to Southern Lehigh on Friday.

Saucon Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Catasauqua, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Saucon Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Catasauqua in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 3-0. Will Saucon Valley repeat their success, or does Catasauqua has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
