Basketball Recap: Millville Takes a Loss

Millville lost against Atlantic City back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Millville Thunderbolts fell 60-52 to the Atlantic City Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbolts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Vikings are ranked 59th).

Millville has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 15 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season. As for Atlantic City, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5.

Millville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Atlantic City, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 87-52 win against Absegami on the 15th.
