Basketball Recap: Olympic Comes Up Short

Olympic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Clover Park Timberwolves. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly three points.

Andralynne Harless continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Clover Park, dropping a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Harless has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahriana Mamea, who posted four points and 12 rebounds.

Olympic's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Clover Park, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.

Olympic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clover Park, they will venture away from home to square off against Eatonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eatonville will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Clover Park surely won't give up without a fight.
