Softball Recap: Lewiston-Porter Lancers vs. North Tonawanda Lumberjacks

Lewiston-Porter came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-7 to the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in April.

Madison Vanone was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one triple. Taylor Favorite was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run.

Lewiston-Porter's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for North Tonawanda, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
