Volleyball Recap: Berkshire's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After a string of three wins, Berkshire's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings. The Badgers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Berkshire started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-23.

Berkshire's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 9-5. As for Villa Angela-St. Joseph, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Berkshire and Villa Angela-St. Joseph will both be playing Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin the next time they take the court. The Vikings will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Badgers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
