Soccer Recap: Clewiston Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clewiston can now relate to. They came up short against the Bishop Verot Vikings on Thursday, falling 8-0. Clewiston were not able to make up for their loss to Bishop Verot from their previous meeting back in January of 2025.

Clewiston has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Bishop Verot, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1-6.

Clewiston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Verot, they will square off against Aubrey Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Aubrey Rogers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.
