 The Sweetwater Wildcats won the last time they faced the Polk County Wildcats, and things went their way  on Wednesday too. Sweetwater breezed by Polk County on the road  to the tune of  72-37. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Sweetwater.
  Chris Alford was  his usual excellent self,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 25 points and nine  rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which  he has scored at least a third of Sweetwater's points. Another player making a difference was  Bryson Burgess, who  scored 11 points.
 Sweetwater's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Polk County, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record  this season.
 Sweetwater will face off against Roane County at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. One thing working in Roane County's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  every time they've taken the court this season. Polk County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
