Volleyball Game Preview: Randolph Ghosts vs. Enosburg Falls Hornets + How To Watch

Randolph hasn't had much luck against Enosburg Falls recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Ghosts are taking a road trip to face off against the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Randolph is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Missisquoi Valley, who was ranked 19th at the time (Randolph was ranked tenth). The Ghosts blew past the Thunderbirds 3-0 last Friday. The Ghosts haven't had any issues with the Thunderbirds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-12, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Enosburg Falls hadn't done well against Lyndon Institute recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Hornets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The game was the first time the Hornets have beaten the Vikings on their court since September 5, 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-17.

Randolph now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Enosburg Falls, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Randolph came up short against Enosburg Falls in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Ghosts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
