Basketball Recap: Bethel Takes a Loss

Bethel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 48-41 to the Norcom Greyhounds. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2017.

Bethel now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Norcom, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethel will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Norcom, they will welcome Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Norcom likes a good challenge.
