Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest lost against Greenville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hillcrest Rams took a blow against the Greenville Red Raiders, falling 81-44. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Red Raiders are ranked fifth).

Hillcrest's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-10. As for Greenville, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.

Hillcrest has already played their next contest (against J.L. Mann), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Greenville has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Greenwood.
