Byron Nelson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They put the hurt on the Flower Mound Jaguars with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bobcat are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 37 straight dating back to last season.

Byron Nelson walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-12.

Among those leading the charge was Savannah Sterna, who had six digs and four assists.

Byron Nelson was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Coming up, Byron Nelson will take on Sierra Canyon at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Flower Mound, they will be playing at home against Allen at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
