After a string of 11 wins, Frisco's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Highlands Wildcats.

Frisco's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Lake Highlands, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-2 record this season.

Frisco and Lake Highlands should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Raccoons (ranked 108th) will meet Heritage (ranked 964th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake Highlands will face off against Nimitz at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (95 vs. 480). The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.2, the Vikings 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
