Baseball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Algonac Muskrats, falling 11-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rockets of the 13-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Kaden Gilbert was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

New Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Algonac, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-10.

As of now, neither New Haven nor the Muskrats have any future games scheduled.
