Soccer Recap: Kent Denver Gets the Win

Kent Denver proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Mullen Mustangs. Lyla Hinchey had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Sun Devils.

Kent Denver's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mullen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Kent Denver will square off against The Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mullen will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain Range at 4:00 p.m. on March 25th. Mountain Range will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mullen surely won't give up without a fight.
