Vermillion came tearing into Friday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Parker Pheasants 78-42. The Tanagers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Vermillion's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-3. As for Parker, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
