Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Spartans an 8-0 shutout. The Falcons' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matchups.

Fort Worth Country Day's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for St. Mark's, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
