Volleyball Recap: Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS Comes Up Short

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.

After both having extra time off, Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS and Hampton-Dumont/CAL will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Iowa Falls-Alden has already played their next match (against BCLUW), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
