The Garrett Railroaders will challenge the Churubusco Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Garrett not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 14, 2024. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over Westview. The Railroaders haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Ashlee Vanderbosch made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
