Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask La Lumiere Blue). They claimed a resounding 87-59 victory over the Victory Christian Academy Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lakers.

Victory Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gavin Whitaker, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 19 points. Whitaker is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Quinn Jordan, who went 6 of 11 en route to 12 points and eight rebounds.

La Lumiere Blue's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 90.5 points per game. As for Victory Christian Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.
