Volleyball Recap: Muir Takes a Loss

Muir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Hoover Tornados. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornados this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Muir started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-15, 26-24, 25-19.

Muir's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Hoover, with the win, they broke their ten-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-16.

Muir wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Pasadena on the 14th. As for Hoover, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Glendale on the 14th.
