Baseball Recap: Union County Triumphs

Union County's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 12-7 victory over the Crittenden County Rockets. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Coltin Capps was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Garrett, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Union County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Crittenden County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union County will take on Ohio County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Crittenden County, they will head out on the road to challenge Fort Campbell at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
