Softball Recap: Bath County Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Bath County was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of West Jessamine on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Greenup County Musketeers by a score of 6-5 on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2018.

Bath County's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-8. As for Greenup County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 23-6 record this season.

Bath County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenup County, they will take on Lewis County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
