Roosevelt had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Jefferson Cavaliers 8-1 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Roosevelt also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Roosevelt is set to challenge their familiar foe Pierre T.F. Riggs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Roosevelt's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Jefferson will face off against rival Aberdeen Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
