Volleyball Recap: LEAD Academy Takes a Loss

LEAD Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Creek Coyote.

West Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lorelei Castaneda, who had seven aces and four digs. Another player making a difference was Jemma Walker, who had seven aces.

LEAD Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Creek, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

LEAD Academy has already played their next contest (against Harpeth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for West Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hendersonville on the 6th.
