Baseball Recap: North East Comes Up Short

After flying high against Joppatowne on Tuesday, North East came back down to earth. The Indians lost 8-2 to the Rising Sun Tigers on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

North East saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Knaub, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

North East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Rising Sun, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

North East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rising Sun, they will challenge Elkton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
