Soccer Recap: Marshfield Comes Up Short

Marshfield lost against Hortonville back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers lost 8-0 to the Polar Bears. While losing is never fun, Marshfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Hortonville are ranked sixth).

Marshfield's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-6. As for Hortonville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 15-0-1.

Looking ahead, Marshfield will welcome D.C. Everest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hortonville, they will square off against Kimberly at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
