In what's become a running theme this season, Oak Grove gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the James Lick Comets a 9-0 shutout. The win was just what Oak Grove needed coming off of a 17-1 defeat in their prior contest.

Eric Richard and Brandon Stewart did most of the damage at the plate: Richard scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Stewart went 2-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and a stolen base. Another player making a difference was Christian Gutierrez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
